What to Expect

If you have never been to our church — or to any church — here is exactly what happens, so that nothing catches you off guard.

ArrivingPeople walking in, being greeted at the door

When to arrive

The Lord’s Day Celebration begins at 9:00 am on Sunday. Come at about 8:45 am if you would like time to find a seat and be greeted.

What to wear

Whatever you own. Some wear barong or a dress; most do not. Nobody is checking.

The serviceThe congregation singing, or the preacher mid-sermon

How long it lasts

About ninety minutes. We sing, we read a good deal of Scripture, we pray, and the sermon is usually thirty to forty minutes and works through a book of the Bible passage by passage.

Will I be singled out?

No. We will not ask visitors to stand or introduce themselves. The offering is for members of the congregation; please do not feel any obligation to give.

ChildrenChildren at the Saturday Kids' Ministry, or with their families in the pews

Your children

Children are welcome in the service and we are not bothered by noise. There is a quiet space at the back if you need it.

Afterwards

We stay for coffee and conversation. If you would rather slip out, that is completely fine — come back next week and slip out again.
